The Vibhavadi Heart Center provide heart patients with the highest level of comprehensive cardiovascular care available. All our cardiologists provide general cardiovascular care. In addition, patients who require subspecialty care can receive treatment from physicians specializing in electrophysiology, echocardiography, nuclear and invasive or interventional cardiology.
Vibhavadi Heart Center provides services by using modern medical technologies and devices, including teams of cardiologists and specialists in all branches of cardiovascular diseases as follows:
Vibhavadi Heart Center
One Heart Only
Heart needs special care.
Heart disease is caused by both genetic and external factors, including way of life and behavioral adjustments damaging health, such as eating, weight control and regular exercise. However, if “Heart Disease” exists, you will need treatment.
Nowadays, heart disease is the second leading cause of death, next to cancer. Fortunately, a person with “Heart Disease” can have good quality of life. “Care and Treatment” play a significant role, as “Heart Disease” can occur at any time. Regular health check-up is thus recommended, and when symptoms exist, it is necessary to rush to the hospital.
Vibhavadi Heart Center offers services by using modern medical technologies and devices.
64-Slice Multidetector Computed Tomography Angiography (MDCTA)
Cardiac Computed Tomography
Computerized Tomography, Somatom Sensation Cardiac 64 Model is a technology globally recognized for its ability to diagnose patients tending to have heart diseases, such as coronary artery disease. The device helps diagnose patients without visible symptoms of ischemic heart disease, so the patients can be provided with timely prevention and treatment. In addition, Computerized Tomography is a technology with high efficiency, being able to create 64 images per rotation (360 degrees). The rotation takes only 0.33 second, and this speed is best for heart diagnostic examination, as heart trembles all the time.
Cardiac Catheterization
The diagnosis and treatment uses a mini catheter (approximately 2 mm.), being inserted into artery or vein in groin or arm area until heart, and contrast media is injected to.
Coronary Angiography
Coronary Angiography is the injection of contrast media to diagnose coronary artery. Cardiologist will insert mini catheter (approximately 2 mm.) Into artery in groin or arm area until coronary artery, and contrast media is injected into the mini catheter to diagnose whether coronary artery is constricted or blocked, and image will display distinctly on monitor. When the coronary artery is constricted and blocked, treatment can be immediately provided.
Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty and Stenting (Treatment for Constricted Coronary Artery)
Treatment for constricted coronary artery by inserting catheter with tiny balloon in the end into area of constricted coronary artery, and air is blown into the balloon exactly located in the constricted position. Compression will enable the constricted coronary artery to inflate. On several occasions, the stent may be used to prevent repeated constriction in the future.
Echocardiography
Echocardiography is used for diagnosis and prognosis, including examination of severity and follow-up with efficient treatment result of cardiovascular disease, as size can be measured, and heart function together with structures can be effectively examined.
Exercise Stress Test
Exercise Stress Test is to have patients exercise by walking on walking pad specified by the program, aiming to diagnose coronary artery disease, or the test may be used to identify cardiac arrhythmia also synchronizing with exercise. This test can diagnose patients with chest pain effectively.
24 Hours Ambulatory ECG Recording
24 Hours Ambulatory ECG Recording is the diagnosis of your cardiac conduction system for 24 hours. You can go back to stay at home or work as usual by not wasting your time staying overnight in hospital, and after 24 hours, you can return to the hospital to remove the device and get the result from a cardiologist. This diagnostic test is suitable for patients probably have the problems of occasional palpitation, constant dizziness and regular tachycardia.
Tilt Table Test
The special diagnostic examination is used to test patients fainting by not knowing the cause with an aim to seek and provide correct treatment, as syncope results from multiple causes, probably caused by the problems of brain, heart, hypotension or abnormality of autonomic nervous system. Tilt Table Test is to examine and identify syncope caused by the abnormality of autonomic nervous system, being the major cause of syncope.
Electrocardiography (EKG)
Electrocardiography (EKG) helps diagnose coronary artery disease, cardiomegaly and hyponatremia.
Cardiac Rehabilitation
Cardiac Rehabilitation is a combination of a variety of processes, including exercise and information supporting adjustment of risk factors for coronary, enabling patients to continue having good physical and mental health in the long term.
Vibhavadi Heart Center provides services in large operating rooms, and the center has a team of experienced cardiologists and nurses and modern technologies for cardiac surgery. Vibhavadi Heart Center also has Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, providing high quality care for patients.
“Heart Diseases” need care and treatment.
Etc.
If you have these risk factors, such as diabetes, hypertension, overweight, high cholesterol, regular syncope and family member having heart disease, or if you think that you have “risks”, do not ignore the risks, as they can transform into " .Heart Disease''.
Medical equipment and devices of the Heart Center are as follows:
Body parts are diagnosed by High-Speed 64 Slice CT Scanner.
1. Coronary CT Angiography is to diagnose and identify clogged arteries caused by fat attaching artery wall (Coronary Artery Disease) or calcium deposit attaching artery wall (Coronary Artery Calcification). Both causes lead to acute clog of artery supply
2. Diagnose clogged arteries in all body parts, including...
2.1 Coronary Artery
2.2 Renal Artery
2.3 Femoral Artery
2.4 Brachial Artery
2.5 Artery of Lower Body Part
2.6 Arteries of Other Body Parts
Tilt Table Test
Tilt Table Test is a special test used for testing a group of patients with syncope caused by imbalanced function of Automatic Nervous System (Neural Mediated Syncope).
Principle: Adjustable bed is used, and for the test result, cardiologist will perform diagnosis based on pulse, blood pressure, cardiac conduction system and patients' conditions during adjustment of bed from horizontal position to 70-80 degrees for approximately 15-20 minutes.
Cardiac Catheterization and Angiogram
Cardiac Catheterization and Angiogram is to insert mini catheter (approximately 2 mm.) into artery in groin or arm area until coronary artery, and contrast media is injected into the catheter to diagnose where or whether the coronary artery is constricted or blocked.
Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty
Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty is to provide treatment for coronary artery disease by inserting catheter with tiny balloon in the end into clogged coronary artery. Then, air is blown into the clogged position for inflation. Compression will inflate the clogged artery. Stent may be used on several occasions to prevent repeated clog in the future.
3. Examination of Bones in Body Parts for Diagnosis of Bone Abnormalities
3.1 Spine
3.2 Ankle
3.3 Pelvic Bone
3.4 Metatarsal Bones
3.5 Leg Bones
3.6 Skull
3.7 Ribs
3.8 Sinus
3.9 Bones in Body Parts
4. Brain CT
5. Abdominal CT
Echocardiogram
Echocardiogram is a cardiac diagnosis by using sound wave for examining cardiac function. The sound wave will pass through transducer and reflect heart function appearing on monitor, and the image will be realistic movement.
Exercise Stress Test
Exercise Stress Test is an examination to diagnose coronary artery disease in particular. The principle is that patients will exercise by walking on Walking Pad as specified by the program. If coronary artery is clogged, change of cardiac conduction system will be visible.
