คำแนะนำสำหรับผู้สูงอายุ 65 ปีขึ้นไป
1. หากไม่เคยรับวัคซีนปอดอักเสบมาก่อน ควรเริ่มด้วยวัคซีนชนิด 13 หรือ 15 สายพันธุ์ ตามด้วยวัคซีน 23 สายพันธุ์ภายใน 6-12 เดือน
2. หากเคยรับวัคซีนชนิด 23 สายพันธุ์แล้ว ควรรับวัคซีน 13 หรือ 15 สายพันธุ์ ห่างจากครั้งแรกไม่น้อยกว่า 1 ปี
